Projects

There are so many things we want to do to get our house ready before we go get Shella May from the Philippines. The only project we "had" to do was accomplished last weekend, now we get to move on the things we want to do. Last weekend we spent the entire weekend cleaning carpets and moving furniture. Ryan did the work, I did the directing. (What a nice guy) Our house is only a little over 1400 square feet and now it feels even more squished because of the current projects going on. Hopefully when we are all done we will feel like we can spread out a little.
Last weekend we moved Liam's bed into Lance's room. They were both not excited about sharing a room because the other one makes strange noises while they sleep. They have 3 weeks off for spring break and it is a great time to get used to sleeping in the same room. After one week of sharing a room, they are doing great. They are both falling asleep at the same time and waking up at the same time also. I took a few pictures of their new room, please excuse the unmade beds. I am not a big bed maker myself, so I don't require it of them either. We still need to find a few dressers, we would like to get ones that fit under Lance's bed or in the closet. The one in the picture is a temporary one until future funds come along.
Next project...paint the basement!

We're not bed-makers either, and I didn't even notice your unmade beds until you pointed it out :) Aren't the projects fun, and don't they make it feel a little more real?

I'm glad that the boys are adjusting to the room-sharing. I think it will benefit both of them in the long run. My girls have been sharing a room since they were really little, and I think it has helped their sibling bond. Have fun painting your basement!

Hey...we don't make the bed either! They told us at the orphanage that Jay-R made his bed every day...that's one routine disrupted! You wanted me to email you info on the hotel we stayed at but I don't have your email...let me know what it is and I would be glad to chat about the hotel experience!

It sounds like you guys have been very busy. It must be exciting to start to prepare for Shella Mays arrival. Before you know it she'll be home with you! Have fun with all of your projects.
