I'm a hostage to my clothing
I'm killing time right now because we are going to a casino night for the boys' school and Ryan is dropping off the kids while I get ready. However, I can not finish getting ready because I tried on a new dress I bought last week on sale ($5 steal!) and it looked bad on me and now I really can't get the dress off my fat body. I really am hostage to this dress, maybe not such a good deal. It was a little tricky getting it on, but it is impossible to get over my head. I have tried everything short of taking a scissors to it. I would take the scissors, but it is brand new and I'll donate it to a thrift store for some other fool or skinny person to buy. Yes, I know I should try things on in the store, but I never have the time or patience for that. The tag really said large, but maybe they meant large skinny person. Does this mean that I will go on a diet...absolutely not, I will just buy bigger clothes next time. Well if Ryan doesn't get home soon, I'll be cutting it off because I think I am loosing circulation in my arms from it. Don't you wish I took a picture:)

I took off the tags and lost the receipt the first day I bought it, I'm an optimist. We had a great time tonight but didn't win any auctions or anything :(
I am such a pessimist about clothes. I hate trying them on in the store so I always save tags and receipts until I am sure they fit. Usually I am driving around town with at least one shopping bag in my trunk with something in it that needs to be returned.
Glad you had a good time :) We went out last night to a retirement party. It's weird that we're starting to get to that point in Brian's career. I remember when we used to go to promotion parties for E5 and E6 and think "that will be us someday". Now we are closer to having our own retirement party than anything else!
