Frustration
Our agency gave us the go ahead to call the NVC to ask questions about our paperwork today. I called (which is huge if you know how much I hate calling strangers) and they said that they sent it electronically and it is the Embassy's fault that they don't have it. The woman just read the same date from the letter we had received and had nothing new to add to our information. So, nothing was accomplished, but at least I got to feel like I did something productive. Also, it may not be laying on a desk somewhere, it may be in a database no one knows how to access. Ryan's favorite help desk expression is "that the problem always lies between the keyboard and the back of the chair". In this case, he may be correct. Meanwhile...we wait.

I hope that everything works itself out quickly. I'm sure that there is nothing more frustrating than having your childs picture and knowing who they are, but not being able to just go over and scoop them up. Good luck and take care.
